• Identity & Contact Information: Name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email addres.
• Demographic Information: General location details and professional or educational background.
• Platform Usage Data: Details regarding your association with the mission, event registrations, session attendance, and activities logged on the platform.
• Device Information: Information about the device identifiers necessary for mobile push notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used to further the objectives of the iFocus Mission and enhance your experience on the platform:

• Community Engagement: To maintain features that allow members to connect and support one another.
• Event & Platform Management: To process event registrations, track attendance, manage roles, and provide access to features like progress trackers.

6. Data Retention, Soft-Deletion, and Purging

We retain your personal information as long as your account remains active or as needed to fulfill the community engagement purposes outlined in this policy.

Your Right to Deletion & Account Deletion Process: You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. You can initiate this request directly from the **Delete Account** section within your dashboard settings, or by emailing our support team at contact@ifocusmission.org.

30-Day Recovery Grace Period (Soft-Deletion): To protect users against accidental deletion, when account deletion is requested, the account is placed in a "soft-deleted" status. The user is signed out, and their session is locked. For 30 days following the request, all personal data is preserved, and the user can retrieve and restore their account instantly simply by logging back in.

Permanent Purge and Anonymization: If the account is not recovered within the 30-day grace period, all personal profile information, workshop registrations, and attendance logs are permanently and irreversibly purged from our active databases. Any public events or group workshops you created will remain to preserve logs for other registered members, but all identifying creator information will be removed (set to System/Anonymous).

7. Your Rights and Choices

You maintain control over your data. You can access, review, and update your personal profile, educational details, and professional background directly through the Samyog dashboard ("My Profile" section). You may also adjust your availability preferences and manage your push notification settings through your device.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our platform features or legal requirements. Significant structural changes will be communicated by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
